Don't know why. It sounds like that would work perfectly. Diane, we recently had a major insurance claim on damage to our house. Because we own a construction company, we general contracted the work ourselve. It yeilded some cash that I used to upgrade. This oven has all sorts of fancy things. There is slow cook setting, dehydrator, bread proofing, other things I haven't even tried yet.LeAnnhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11735730125838693383noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1958081170601473466.post-57204801547330215732010-08-20T04:29:30.725-07:002010-08-20T04:29:30.725-07:00Oh by the way, please link to either one of the 4...Oh by the way, please link to either one of the 4 hosting blogs so that others can share in the fun as well :DDiana Baumanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02520992408166526347noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1958081170601473466.post-11122332599168341892010-08-20T04:28:47.068-07:002010-08-20T04:28:47.068-07:00I love making my own yogurt so thank you so much f...I love making my own yogurt so thank you so much for sharing this. I am so excited to hear about this ;) Thanks so much for linking up to Simple Lives Thursday.Diana Baumanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02520992408166526347noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1958081170601473466.post-21035877316369850952010-08-19T19:44:17.276-07:002010-08-19T19:44:17.276-07:00I make yogurt in my crock pot, thanks to this post...I make yogurt in my crock pot, thanks to this post: Crockpot Yogurt RecipeRavenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15401805576403459388noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1958081170601473466.post-60865317774961583692010-08-19T14:00:00.928-07:002010-08-19T14:00:00.928-07:00I don't have a fancy stove (but I wish I did) ...I don't have a fancy stove (but I wish I did) so I use a rubbermaid cooler filled with hot water as a thermal regulator. It doesn't stay 110 the whole time, but it stays warm long enough for the bacteria to do their thing.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1958081170601473466.post-32874460356017769322010-08-16T01:50:48.987-07:002010-08-16T01:50:48.987-07:00We eat lots of yogurt, too - as do most people in ...We eat lots of yogurt, too - as do most people in Europe.... Our 'yogurt aisle' in the supermarkets is one entire, long aisle, both sides... and pretty inexpensive. I haven't tried making it since I lived in the US - but this seems pretty simple....
I also use it in cooking - for salad dressings, and in place of buttermilk, which I can only rarely find.Katie Zellerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17498599461583826030noreply@blogger.com
